SMOKE’N PAINT Brought the Community Together

SMOKE’N PAINT took over Los Angeles for an afternoon of skateboarding, live art, music, food, exclusive drops, and custom-painted decks, all built around the launch of the new Smoken Promises strain, Paint Pen.

The event brought the Smoken Promises community together around skate culture, creativity, personal style, and the people who keep that energy moving. Everyone came out to skate, paint their own decks, check out the latest releases, grab food, listen to music, and spend the day with friends.

More than $3,000 in cash and prizes were handed out for tricks throughout the afternoon, while pro skater Zach Allen hosted a skate demo featuring Rod Skod, Twelve, JJ, Morgan Steftel, Yanni, Malcolm, Manchild, Eddie Suh, Skate Goat, Christian Allen, Jordan Norwood, Jonathan Hov, Brock Lasik, Filthy Pond, Zay H, Isiah Sanchez, Jonny Riviera, Pablo C, and more.

With that many skaters in one place, the course stayed active all day. Each session pulled more people toward the ramps as the crowd watched tricks go down and waited to see who would walk away with the next prize.

 

The custom deck painting gave everyone else a chance to make something of their own. Guests turned blank skate decks into one-of-one pieces, with each board taking on a completely different look depending on who picked up the paint.

The Nuge kept the music going from the DJ booth, setting the pace for the afternoon while special guests moved through the event. Burger She Wrote handled the food, and Easy Does It kept drinks flowing, giving people plenty of reason to stay between sessions.

Away from the course, guests moved between the deck-painting area, vendor booths, food, music, and Smoken Promises product displays. Some came ready to skate, others came to paint, eat, shop, or hang out, but the event gave everyone a way to take part.

That mix is what made SMOKE’N PAINT feel true to Smoken Promises. Skateboarding, art, music, food, and community all had room to exist together without the day feeling overproduced or forced.

Thank you to every skater, artist, vendor, partner, and guest who came out and made SMOKE’N PAINT what it was. The day belonged to everyone who showed up, brought their own energy, and helped turn the event into something worth remembering.
